Thank you brothers and sisters

It was the day before we jumped on our plane and we had our moving boxes packed, our carry-on luggage by the door, and we were sitting on our empty living room floor. We were so busy moving and tired. We almost canceled our session but we pressed pause on moving for a mere 45 minutes. Most families have family photos are planned in advance and matching outfits for the big day. Well, not in this case. I opened up our carry-on luggage and pieced together some outfits for my family and we headed to the main beach access in Surf City. We would be meeting two of our most precious friends for our impromptu photo session. Our wonderful friend at Lux Photography gifted us with the most beautiful family photos we have ever taken. We laughed, hugged, and played with our friends one last time on the beach. It was cold but it was worth it.

We hadn't been to the beach since we returned from our first visit to Alaska. The girls just didn't want to go back to the beach for some reason. Jude said she left her heart in Alaska. Boy, isn't that the truth!

We didn't know we needed these photos. But I am going to treasure these family photos forever. They remind me of every beach hang-out with our friends, every long walk with the salty air blowing through my hair, and every grain of sand we shuffled through after a long day catching waves. Surf City will forever be my favorite place in the East and the friends we left behind will forever be in my heart!

Thank you for everything ❤️

We wish ya’ll a Merry Christmas!
